Honda CR-Z Headlight LED DRL Addon Harness

Swapping headlights on your Honda CR-Z with a set featuring the LED DRL? If your vehicle didn't come with these from the factory, you won't have the necessary wiring to get these up and running - until now! Wiring up the LED DRL strips on your CR-Z headlights is as easy as it gets with our plug-and-play harness. Just use the included add-a-fuse tap to get a 12V ignition or accessory power source, route the single wire behind the dash and through the passenger side firewall grommet, bolt the ground terminal to a clean metal surface, and mate the OEM connectors (see images for wiring diagram if needed). 

Not sure if your headlights have the LED strip? If you aren't sure from the front side, just check the back for the dark gray connector with two wires shown in the 4th photo. If this connector is present, but there isn't a matching connector on your vehicle's body harness, you need our kit!

You can install the fuse tap in any fuse location with accessory switched power - your LED strips will automatically activate when the car is running, no additional switch needed! Make sure not to use a fuse that has 12V all the time or else you will have battery drain issues and the lights will remain on even after the car is turned off or locked. If using the fuse tap in the OEM DRL fuse location, don't put the factory fuse back in the tap to keep the high beam DRL off. Make sure to secure any loose or excess wiring to other harnesses or points on the frame. This harness is compatible with USDM or JDM headlights! Do keep in mind that JDM/ROW headlights have dimmer LED strips, this is normal.

This product is designed only to complete the wiring for swapping physical headlight assemblies from the OEM w/o LED to those w/ LED. Headlight assemblies not included.
